ArcelorMittal South Africa is providing possibilities for training as a Process Operator with an emphasis on the Steel Manufacturing Process to those who have grade 12 certificates with favourable grades in mathematics and/or math lit and English.
The training program, which incorporates both on-the-job and institutional training, is founded on a structured outcome-based approach.
The learnership program will include regular evaluation and progress tracking.
All of our Vanderbijlpark operations have opportunities.
There will be a formal training agreement. In addition to a monthly stipend, the Production Learnership covers training-related expenses, personal protective equipment, payment for institutional training, and on-site personal insurance.
Upon completion, permanent employment is not assured.
Tasks and obligations Adhere to the learnership requirements and finish it successfully.
Maintain a safe and healthy workplace by abiding by all environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations.
Minimum specifications
-A minimum of a Grade 12 diploma in maths, English or both Lit. Physical science might be beneficial.
-A cooperative individual with the ability to work independently
-Dedicated and extremely self-motivated
-A flexible thinker with outstanding problem-solving abilities
-Excellent engineering skills and a keen eye for detail
