Purpose of the job  

• Keep electrical equipment in good working order.
• Fix electrical problems that come up daily, following instructions.
• Make sure electrical setups meet the required safety rules and are properly installed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must have a Grade 12 education and an electrical qualification after matric (N3).
• Should have some knowledge of the SANS 10142 wiring rules.
• Should know about Merseta’s rules for apprenticeships.
• Must be able to use computers.
• Should have a basic understanding of the OHS Act.
• Must be able to write good reports.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, and meet deadlines.
