Here’s a great chance for a young, jobless college graduate (35 or younger) who hasn’t had a job or internship in their area of study before.
The right person will become part of the Gauteng Provincial Office’s logistics group and learn hands-on about getting shipments in and out, storage, buying supplies, and sending things out, all while helping with election work.

Key Responsibilities
- The intern will receive structured mentorship and training while supporting:
- Inbound logistics, procurement, distribution, and inventory management
- Supplier tracking and delivery scheduling
- Logistical operations related to by-elections
- Document management, minute taking, reporting, and general administration
- Preparation of presentations, performance reports, and maintenance of correspondence and filing systems
- Exposure to electoral operations and financial administrative processes
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Must be 35 or younger.
- Must not have had an internship or job in the area of work.
- Must have a Matric certificate (Grade 12/N3/NQF Level 4).
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement.

Other Needed Skills:
- Good at writing and speaking clearly.
- Able to use computers (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ready to learn and use new programs.
- Good at managing time and solving problems.
