Job Overview:
We are excited to announce a job opening for an Enrolled Nurse in the Surgical 1 unit at Life Cosmos Hospital. In this vital role, you will report to the Unit Manager, Lena Masus, and work closely with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that both our nursing staff and doctors work efficiently together. This position involves clear communication, record-keeping, and helping to create a supportive environment for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out nursing duties assigned to you, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, strictly following your Scope of Practice.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with patients, doctors, and all members of the healthcare team.
- Strive to ensure that all patients have a satisfying experience during their time at the hospital.
- Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Infection Control Policies to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Oversee and guide junior staff members, offering support and mentorship when needed.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
- You must be registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse and have at least 3 years of experience in the field.
- Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for building relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Good planning and organizational skills will help you manage your responsibilities effectively.
- You should demonstrate resilience and the ability to cope with stress in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong customer service orientation is essential to provide the best care possible.
- Flexibility in working hours is a requirement, as the role may involve shifts.
