Job Overview:

We are excited to announce a job opening for an Enrolled Nurse in the Surgical 1 unit at Life Cosmos Hospital. In this vital role, you will report to the Unit Manager, Lena Masus, and work closely with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that both our nursing staff and doctors work efficiently together. This position involves clear communication, record-keeping, and helping to create a supportive environment for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out nursing duties assigned to you, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, strictly following your Scope of Practice.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with patients, doctors, and all members of the healthcare team.
Strive to ensure that all patients have a satisfying experience during their time at the hospital.
Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Infection Control Policies to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
Oversee and guide junior staff members, offering support and mentorship when needed.

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

You must be registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse and have at least 3 years of experience in the field.
Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for building relationships with patients and colleagues.
Good planning and organizational skills will help you manage your responsibilities effectively.
You should demonstrate resilience and the ability to cope with stress in a fast-paced environment.
A strong customer service orientation is essential to provide the best care possible.
Flexibility in working hours is a requirement, as the role may involve shifts.
