Key Responsibilities:

As the Occupational Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional healthcare services that prioritize both occupational health and primary care. Your duties will include:

  • Onsite Healthcare: Providing comprehensive occupational and primary healthcare services at the Lactalis clinic.
  • Contract Management: Effectively managing and maintaining the client contract on-site, ensuring services meet the agreed standards.
  • Health Program Development: Designing and implementing a structured occupational health program that meets the needs of both the client and employees.
  • Achieving Targets: Meeting the goals outlined in the occupational health and quality programs, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Quality Audits: Preparing for and meeting quality audit requirements for the clinic, ensuring all standards are met.
  • Health Projects: Leading and managing health-related initiatives on-site to promote wellness and safety.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of healthcare services.
  • Administrative Duties: Managing administrative tasks efficiently, ensuring reports, records, and documentation are completed on time.
  • Compliance with Standards: Adhering to the professional and quality standards of Life Health Solutions and client requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual who can bring clinical excellence and strong organizational skills to the role.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • A recognized qualification in Occupational Health is essential.
  • Additional certifications in Audiometry, Spirometry, and vision screening will be highly advantageous.
  • Certification in dispensing medicine is preferred.
  • Proven competence in basic computer skills, administration, employee relations, and effective communication is required.
  • Candidates must be results-driven, with the ability to take the initiative, deliver quality healthcare, and manage costs effectively.
  • Must be competent in providing emergency first aid for medical emergencies.
  • Own reliable transport is required for the role.
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
