Provide great customer service by boosting sales and making sure shoppers are happy with attractive displays. Concentrate on assisting customers. Work well with others and communicate clearly. Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Customer service orientation
A genuine desire to understand and meet the needs of customers, both internal and external - Working with members in a team
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals - Ability to plan, daily tasks effectively
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance - Computer literacy
Proficiency in using a variety of computer applications and systems relevant to the job - Attention to detail
A commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work. - Ability communicate with people/ customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with individuals from diverse backgrounds. - Tolerance for stress
The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, maintaining composure in challenging situations. - High level of integrity/ Initiative
Demonstrated commitment to ethical behavior and trustworthiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achievement of daily, monthly and weekly sales targets
- Protection of all assets (stock, cash, physical assets, staff and customers )
- through effective implementation of company policies and procedures
- Effective implementation of store/ department layout
- Customer service
- Ensure correct administration procedures in respect of stock room mark-downs and lay-byes
To keep sales high and customers happy, it’s very important to have good systems for restocking products. This means always watching how much stock there is, spotting items that are running low, and quickly ordering more so things don’t run out. Also, it’s necessary to keep the store and storage areas clean and tidy. This means cleaning regularly, organizing displays, getting rid of clutter, and following visual rules so customers have a nice and attractive place to shop.
