Job Title: 2x Enrolled Nurse

We are excited to announce that there are two open positions for Enrolled Nurses at Life Queenstown Private Hospital, reporting directly to General Ward Unit Manager, Dellen Lackay. These roles play a vital part in ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered. Key Responsibilities:
As an Enrolled Nurse, your day-to-day tasks will involve:

  • Delivering top-notch care to all patients while adhering to the standards set by the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and the policies of Life Healthcare.
  • Ensuring that health, safety, and infection control standards are strictly followed, maintaining a safe environment for both patients and healthcare workers.
  • Making the best use of the hospital’s resources and equipment to provide efficient care.
  • Keeping detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring that all documentation is up to date.
  • Educating and guiding patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care routines.
  • Building strong, supportive relationships with patients, doctors, and colleagues to foster effective teamwork and enhance patient care.

What We’re Looking For:
To qualify for this position, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse, registered with SANC.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, to meet the hospital’s operational needs.
  • Some knowledge of the private healthcare sector and its unique challenges would be helpful, though not mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills are advantageous, as this will assist in patient record management and hospital systems.
